Ah, the male equivalent of shoe shopping, except that the missus does not trade in her old gear and always comes back with two!  big_smile
Enjoy! I hear the Tiny Terror is quite good.

Re: Amp Shopping Today!!

Picked up a new Blues Junior III and love it. Tried a couple of the new Hot Rod III series (Deluxe, Deville) and the new III series ones are fantastic. New speakers, pots, etc really address some complaints on the earlier ones. Good luck!!

Re: Amp Shopping Today!!

Good Day,

Played my Gib 339 with Phat Cats (P90's) thru a Fender HRD 3 at the L.A. Amp show.

As I was playing, someone commented "Geez that HRD 3 likes that 339"

It sounded GREAT. I was really impressed with the sound of the HRD3.

Enough so, that I'm looking to pick one up. At that price point (around $800)

it is hard to beat. I've already got a Marshall JMP 800 and My "go to" Crate V32 (don't laugh)

That Crate V32 kicks some A$$ especially after the OT upgrade. I don't have a Fender yet, and

I liked the sound of the 6L6's in the HRD3. Great amp IMHO.

Cheers
