Topic: Patrick Droney-Thumbs Up Talent

Check this 14 year old out- he said he is supposed to be Joe's warm-up this summer.  It's not on the schedule yet, so I'm not sure.  His mom was head over heels about Joe and became my new best friend when she spotted my Joe Bonamassa Blues Deluxe shirt.  smile When she stopped gushing about Joe and came up for air, she told us about her son Patrick.  Patrick was the last artist to play with Robert Lockwood, Jr. and James Brown and has played with B.B.  He writes all his own music and lyrics, awesome talent!  Patrick is a very nice young man, as well, along with his mom!  Meeting them made the evening extra special!

I've heard of him, Angela. I check out all the guitarists under Joe's friends on Myspace.  I agree, he is great. Check out "Reaction" by him.

Hi David,

Cool, I rarely go to myspace.  Thanks for the link.  When I get more time,  I'll check out Patrick's sites more, just kinda' skimmed around, totally overscheduled this weekend.  In conversation w/Patrick's mom, she was saying how closely she monitors his grades and he has to go to college...maybe he'll end up at Berklee in Boston...that's where he took some lessons initially.
