Topic: Norway 2011

I see that Mr. Bonamassa is giving shows in both Trondhjem and Bergen in Norway next year. Norway is a country which is quit lage in squearmeeters (or Squarefoot), but not in popularity. I adore Mr. Bonamassa for attending shows in Bergen and Trondhjem (which thy absolutly deserve), but i hope he is not going to forget Oslo (the capital) cause we are longing to see him (we always will). A great option would be to see him at the Notodden Blues Festival again, where he did some great gigs in 2009 ( missed him in 2010), but we are hopeing he will be able to amuse us again.

Best regards

Hey Per, where does it say that Joe's going to be in Norway next year ... I don't see it posted yet on the website. Thanks!

PathMan, there are many shows of Joe's that do not appear on his official website until much later than the actual booking. Some are even sold out before being listed. Check the fan posts on the sticky in Show Reviews where rumors etc. are posted by us as they are discovered. Subscribe to the big ticket vendors with a filter for the artists of your choice and area. They will notify you when a show is first announced. A quick search for Joe/Norway showed Bergenfest as the place. If you sniff any out that haven't been listed yet, post it so we all get a heads up.  smile  It is one of the best features of the forum.

Re: Norway 2011

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the info ... yes, I only realized recently with the California show dates that they're not necessarily posted on the website immediately (and why is that, I wonder?) but I didn't know where to look. I took your advice just now and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that Joe is actually going to be in Tulsa, OK in February next year. My heart was in my mouth as I thought I'd missed the boat but tickets don't go on sale for a week or so. Thanks a lot!!  cool

Re: Norway 2011

Glad to help. The reason they aren't posted officially is a legal deal concerning contracts I think. Well, now you know. There have been discussions that can be searched out about the whys and such. Usually the pre sale code is JBFAN when Tulsa goes on presale. Stay on top of the sales venue so you can get in early.
