How come in God's name is there no topic on this wonderful singer/songwriter???? 

Cathy and I are just back from a stunningly good show at the Paradiso (which, by the way, was fuller and more enthusiastic than for any show I have seen there since Joe last played the hall in Oct. 07).

I've got plenty more to say and a film that will hopefully be worth watching, but I have to hit the sack now. In short, do NOT pass up an opportunity to see this band, they are seriously tight and awesomely good. John's guitarist is a young man from Memphis (heard name, forgot it) who plays everything with strings, and who is certainly worth investigating.
