Ok, I'm no huge fan of this plastic shite, but if anyone saw Matt's performance last night then I am sure you'll agree this guy can be a superstar. WHAT A VOICE!

He reminds me of Neil Finn/Lindsey Buckingham/Damian Rice all rolled into one. Amazing vocal range and a simply beautiful beautiful voice- power, delicacy, control......

So being in Germany I didn't see it so watched the link. Initially, deep misgivings as the breathy, pinched vocal a la Michael Jackson is not my thing. But he won me over completely. Great arrangement of this song. Way better than the original and superby delivered.

Absolute respect and way to good for that bloody awful show, although to his credit Cowell looked impressed.

Mike- this kid is going to be huge- writes, plays piano and guitar, and a sweet sweet voice to boot. The first 'real' artist I've ever seen on the show...

I am totally loving everything he's done so far- way out on his own as the fave to win it after last night.

Confesses to smoking 40 a day- how on earth can anyone have a vocal range and clarity like that smoking so much?

What a voice! We don't get the show over here but I'll keep an eye on the progress of this amazingly talented man.

For those of you that doubted me, Matt WON X factor last night! Easily the  best season of XFactor and in fairness any of the last 4 would have probably won any other year.

Matt is destined for huge things- great songwriter, amazing voice, and a lovely guy.
