*Big thanks to my friend Ron for finding that*

NtotallipSync???
We don't need no facking cabs!
Just add more smoke and the fans'll never know.
Good one Dave.
Rick
That might be the dumbest thing on earth. What a loser...
Hilarious!
That is WAY too funny!! How did you find that? Now I'm wondering how many other people pull these types of stunts. -S.
Jeez, it's sort of cool on one hand.... but the SETUP? instead of plugging in amps, you're trying to piece together boxes and boards...to have to drag that 'scenery' on the road? Wouldn't it be embarrassing if it fell apart?
It's the musician's version of "Hey, look how big mine is." Where's the strong gust of wind when you need it?
Oh I'm praying for a strong wind at one of their gigs, and hopefully someone is filming the embarrassing moment
once again I threw up in my mouth...
You actually think these are new ideas? Plenty of BIG names been doing it (and STILL somewhat common) since before some were born.
But they should be as convincing as possible! From every angle and from space!

Oh, of course it's not new - take a look at Motley Crue (if you dare). It's just fun to look at the pictures, R.

Tons of fun, tons of sobs laughing at s.o.b.'s Dave! Blame the 60's, when the pilot light, speaker cloth and tolex and it's offspring ruled the underverse!!! Head Eeeee daze!

True story here. I read that Keith Urban (kind of a stretch for this group but a helluva player) used to have 1 Bogner or Hiwatt 1x15 under the stage mic'd up and the rest of the Matchless/Badcat/whatever amps on stage were all dummies.
Now they just need the 18" model of Stonehenge not to mention the dwarves of course.
Great larf if one of them got carried away and a la Townshend stuck the neck thru one to reveal........daylight!
On a serious note, unless everyone is in on the joke - that is very very sad.
Unless of course, the plan is, as the highlight of the show to burn the whole stage setting down, in which case, you really wouldn't want your prized rig torched.
All you need now is to pan the camera around and find the roadie playing the solo's. Would top it off for this band!
This is why I respect people that don't care if they have a small rig.
Though not a simple rig at all, Matt Bellamy just has a couple of cabs on stage, one off at the far side purely there for feedback when he's over that side of the stage, and one at the back. And they have played some huge stages.
