Topic: 6 Bonamassa Burst Guitars available in the UK

My friend John - the one with the Blue Bonamassa LP told me about this earlier today.

Guitar Village have 6 'Bonaburst' Lesters in stock. £2699 which is less than it cost me to get one from Wildwood. That is no criticism of Wildwood though!!!

I'm thinking with a handful JB's still sitting at Wildwood, one might get price down from $3900 to $3000 delivered U.S., allowing WW to move a guitar and still make profit.  If this guitar is to someone's spec, might be worth a look before buying their next LP...might be cheaper then one might guess. Very surprised this many are still hanging around at WW considering only 25-units or so.

I'm so tempted by one of these, even more so now I wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of importing.

I have 1 question though... How come the bodies are weight relieved? I thought Joe specified a 2 piece body so that they could use the lightest pieces of mahogany, yet it still needs to be weight relieved? Are the historics better guitars as they are solid bodies?

Check it out, they've added another 25 recently and they aren't moving too fast.
