MONDAYS!!!   No, seriously, Many of the things mentioned by Pete the Cabby would most certainly and do make me cry in a sad way.  Also, some movies make me cry.  Brian's Song is one that comes to mind.  Will not ever watch that movie again to the end. 

But then there's  happy things that make me cry too. Like weddings, rehabilitated animals being released back into the wild and laughing too hard over something ridiculous are a few things that come to mind.

Not music though.  I would have to add music to the topic "What makes you smile?"

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor, goes back to rocking my son to sleep the day we brought him home from the hospital, an epiphany of sorts. Still gets me every time.

not much. the birth of my two children, Joe's guitar playing sometimes like the lead on So Many Roads and pretty much all of Happier Times. The death of my calico cat that I raised when I was in college is another.
The only other is Alabama winning the NCAA national championship in 1992 and 2009. I was too young to cry for all of our others.

Listening to the Feat last Friday and talking about Richie with other Feat freaks got me moist, repeatedly. I wasn't the only one. Us oldies are just softies, I guess.

The ending of "City of Angels" makes me cry.  Sometimes I turn it off before the end just so I don't have to put myself through that emotional upheaval. 

Seeing my father cry-- or any man -- will make me cry.

Having to hold my dog while she was put to sleep made me cry harder than anything else in my life.  I still see her eyes, and I want to cry right now.
