Topic: Joanne Shaw Taylor European Tour Oct/Nov

Hi Folks,
lots of buzz on hear about JST (and rightly so). I have the pleasure of tour managing for her for the European Tour. Dates listed below. The insanely talented Virgil and Gabriel (Virgil and the Accelerators) are playing rhythm section for Joanne. Where possible I am trying to get Virgil to open up with a short acoustic set, this all depends if the venues have their own openers booked or not. Will update as they come in.

I have seen Joanne twice right here in Michigan................and she is FANTASTIC!!!  I highly recommend anyone to go see her!

Martin, this is great news and really makes me happy!! ( Who could doubt there's a little Divine intervention happening in your life.  wink ). Please try to get a show in Holland. I'll be there from the 24th of October until the 10th of Nov. We have 3 Joe shows, a Davy Knowles, Sonny Landreth, Joe S show......JST as well as Virgil....That would be the icing on the cake. Cathy

with a bit of luck I'll be able to make the Bullingdon in Oxford (yeah Eldo you heard right  tongue ) and maybe Sutton as well. I love the clips I've heard from Joanne's new album and can't wait to hear Virgil and Gabriel as her rhythm section.

Well, me and my mrs will be there.  Ordered tickets this week.

Really glad Virgil will be opening, didn't expect that.  Heard a lot about him and the band, but not had chance to catch anything yet.
Hopefully this will be an eye-opener to yet another talent.

big_smile  well, the way I see it is that Joanne looks like she's moved to the States. So, like Davy Knowles, we'll have to catch her when we can with a long wait between tours.

Shame she's not touring Germany, Holland etc. though. I'd have a moan at the tour manager if I were you  wink

Already booked my ticket for JST at The Beaverwood. Saw Virgil & The Accelerators at the same venue last month, and really enjoyed the gig. Excellent news that Virgil will be opening up on the acoustic. A real bonus for the fans. I'll be getting there early for this one.
