Topic: new pedal suhr shiba drive!, goodbye tube screamer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well last year after making it very clear in my head that i wanted joes tone i slaved away at  work and brouhgt a dsl and a 58vos and the tube screamer! JOB DONE! (or very close just three amps less!) big_smile  big_smile

so iv been very happy with the set up and it sounds big with lots of tone BUT, i was in a shop and was looking for the next thing to help me with my long term condition GAS ,  big_smile  big_smile  i looked at the way huge pork lion and some other exspensive pedals but then i came across the suhr shiba drive, so i asked for a demo!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTONE HEAVEN , this pedal is so good i had to trade the tube screamer for it, the smooth creamy tone was nothing i had heard before its very very well made it consists of gain ,tone, level, and a smooth voicing switch.

i cant compain about the tube screamer at all as it done what i needed it to do ,but its nice to change hey guys!
I highly rate this pedal and if anyone is not to sure about this pedal , then   all i can say is get it!!  big_smile  big_smile

I've never heard of them but I looked it up on youtube and they sound nice.  I think a lot of the OD's are so similar that it's a waste of time to split hairs over one or another.  I also think it all depends on how it feels (not just sounds) to YOU when you play it with YOUR guitar through YOUR amp.  I'm glad you like it and are satisfied, though now you won't be stimulating the economy by buying more gear like the rest of us!
