I see they are playing their first ever UK show next year at the Hammersmith Apollo.
Question = are they worth seeing ?

I've seen their Christmas show and it was very good. It has it's traditional aspects and flat out heavy aspects.

The wife and I have gone every year for a few years now and always a great show. Spectacular effects, great musicians.

+1....except it's the GF and every year for almost 10 now....definitely go....it's AWESOME! And the stage show just gets better and better as they gain popularity....lasers and all sortsa cool stuff.
Wonder whether it'll be TSO East, West or some combo of the two....should be interesting.

I have been to there show for the past three years and have my ticket for this years show. As Carl said there show
improves each time i see them.

Absofrickinlutly!! I have not had the pleasure to see them live but would love to one of these times. But I have some of their music and love it.

Most will rave, but I will disagree, personal opinion of course. Too bombastic for me, and I consider it droll and predictable. If I want that I go to a Disneyland or Disney World, although that costs too much too.

i dig the music have never been to a show, but a friend of mine has and he raves about it!
Much better than going to Disneyland......

A semi-chintzy Pink Floyd laserium show is about equal and far cheaper and my ears and brain are happier...
I guess you've never done some of the things I have (gotten away with and special treatments I've have) at Disneyland / World(s) over the years... But to each their ownership

We went a few years back. It was a good show, but we're of the "been there, done that" mindset.
For us, it seemed like a TSO show is more about the special effects, not as much about the music. The performances are technically excellent, but very little soul. Any interaction with the audience is very scripted; there's not much sponteneity. But I guess that's to be expected with all those pre-programmed lasers and spotlights.
I'd say if you've never seen the show, go ahead and see it. It is definitely entertaining. But for us, once was enough.
