I sympathise Cathy. K had a slipped disk last year and she was laid out for a while with it. When you get back on your feet you must do some stretching exercises. K does them everyday (when she remembers  roll )  and has found them very beneficial. Let me know if you would like the name of some good books on the subject.

Thanks everyone! I'm telling you, if I was a horse I'd be glue and dog food by now. Growing old isn't pretty...and it hurts. I've had three spinal surgeries, so I know the routine. As for my run of bad luck since Crossroads..I had a long talk with the full moon and think I'm on the upswing. Regardless, being a Hospice Nurse keeps things in perspective. I know people who are having a worse day than I am. Now, back to the heating pad.    Love and kisses back to all XXOO Cathy

Thank you Cathy. I'm still in disbelief. Jason was my godson and my nephew (my brother's son). His life had been a constant challenge. Double kidney failure and transplant at about 16 years old, that kidney shut down when he was 19 or 20, so so he went through another transplant. Then a couple years ago he got caught in the middle of a bar fight and was hit in the head with a bottle...brain hemmorage, brain surgery, paralyzed, regained use of his arms, but not his legs or speech. From the depths of despair, he regained his will to live and was communicating through Facebook, etc.
He was on an upswing and the news this morning was a complete shock and totally unexpected. The cause of death is currently unknown, but the suspicion is heart failure. He leaves behind 4 brothers and a sister.
