Re: SLASHS NEW ALBUM STREAMING NOW!!!!

What about "Back From Cali & Starlight"?........those 2 songs kick A**. Myles Kennedy has got to be one of the best singers out there right now. The man can bring it.

Gotta say the song with Fergie (the one I thought would be the worst) is a ripper also.

Very solid album.

"Back From Cali" is my fave too on the album.

Re: SLASHS NEW ALBUM STREAMING NOW!!!!

Got it last week and hasn't been off my car stereo. What an album! NOT A BAD SONG ANYWHERE ON THE WHOLE CD!  I have never heard better tone or playing from Slash. Just shows what happens when you're off the booze (and Cigs).
Can't wait to see him live in Belfast 30th June!!!!

Guitars: 95 Les Paul Standard, Relic Strat,
Amps: 1973 Marshall JMP 50 head and Vintage Modern Cab. I use no effects other than a Cry Baby on occasions.

Re: SLASHS NEW ALBUM STREAMING NOW!!!!

Picked up Slash's album his week. I think it's some of his best work since GNR. If you want some good hard rock check this one out.

When I was a child I spoke as a child, But all I heard was how I should get ahead,
Now growing up it ain't anything but all This indecision with these debts and doubts
And worries hanging over my head. When I was a child I spoke as a child,
I wish I could remember what I said.

Re: SLASHS NEW ALBUM STREAMING NOW!!!!

Saw them live last Friday night in Toronto at the Koolhaus for only 2000 people and it was the best rock concert I've ever seen in my life (haven't seen Joe B yet  wink ). Myles Kennedy is simply UNREAL! The band was amazing and Slash was the rock god I hoped he would be. I must of "pogo'd" for 10 straight songs.  Their set list was so amazing I assembled and burnt a CD with the songs in the exact order:

Ghost
Mean Bone
Night Train
Sucker Train Blues
Back From Cali
Beggars and Hangers On
Civil War
Rocket Queen
Fall to Pieces
Dirty Little Thing
Nothing to Say
Starlight
Sweet Child o Mine
Rise Today
Slither

Encore:
By the Sword
Communication Breakdown
Paradise City

Do not miss them if you have a chance to go - it was incredible.

Gits: '03 Gibson Historic R7 Goldtop, '06 Gibson R8 Plaintop, MIJ '62 RI Strat,  and others...
Amps: '99 Marshall 1987x Plexi RI, 1969 Fender Super Reverb

Saw them in June in Belfast. Small club setting, 700 people going nuts. Slash has NEVER played better, his tone was like whipped cream.
Myles Kennedy was most likely the best singer / frontman i've seen in 20 years.
This is Classic Blues Rock at it's absolute finest.

Guns and Who????

Sounds great, I'll be seeing Myles Kennedy next month in Bristol with Alter Bridge.

No matter how far you try to push the envelope, it remains stationery

Re: SLASHS NEW ALBUM STREAMING NOW!!!!

Oh man I'm dying to see Alterbridge now that I'm a massive Myles Kennedy fan - I am jealous!!! Enjoy the show and be sure to post a review!

Kevman, their new album is out in October and from the review below it's sounds like it's going to be their best yet.
