I first saw Eric at the Ft. Lauderdale Blues Fest. in 2006. Most people were across the waterway watching Elvin Bishop, but my friends and I were getting food when Eric started playing. We were blown away by this young kid tearing it up! We pulled chairs up in front of the stage and had our own concert!! I think Derek Truck's brother was playing drums? (could be another false memory). At any rate I remember he never slowed down, or "rested" his hands. So I'm really excited about this CD and can't wait to hear it!!  Cathy

I tried and failed to get into Eric a while back. Looks like I should give him another chance, since I'll (apparently) be listening to him (and many others) on some forthcoming road trips.  wink
