Topic: Ebay ~ Bonamassa Vintage V-100?
Joe when did you authorize these? I thought you only had the Gibson endorsement? When did I miss these?

I don't think they are JB endorsed.
IIRC, If you look at the Vintage website, they say something along the lines of JB 'inspired', but the JB in the model name refers to 'Jazz Blues'
Looks like Vintage are trying to pull a fast one and cash in.
Basking in others' reflected glory is no way to get a good sun tan.
If they are good guitars, I'd just base my opinion on that.
Apparently they are very playable and excellent value for money.
For me, though, the implication that Joe has some connection with them leaves a bit of a sour taste and is a little disingenuous.
A similar Vintage model, the un-aged V100 Flamed Iced Tea, is on my short-list for my next guitar. I've heard nothing but good reports about them, but it's obviously important to remember the phrase '...for the price...' that always seems to be included. Luckily for me, the price is one of the attractions as there is no way a JB endorsed Gibson, or even the upcoming Epiphone will be mine this side of a lottery win.
People will be buying the Seymour Duncan JB pickup next thinking Joe endorses that...
This series of guitars has had decent write ups. I say give them a go and if you like them then you've saved a tonne of cash. Not keen on them clearly ripping Joe's guitar off. Cheap guitars are certainly getting better. Those new squier classic vibes have caught my eye. Always wanted a tele but never wanted the outlay.

Im flattered really. It says a lot that kids want a cheap JB version. Its really cool, I do wanna play one though and see if they are good playing guitars at least. This is actually inspiring me to make a phone call to some friends at Epiphone.. Thanks for the heads up. If someone gets one let me know how it is.
Cheers
