Not sure, but it probably doesn't compare with this.

Yes, I got it. It's absolutely amazing. The live disc is worth the price alone. The only thing is they say that the outtake of The Sky Is Crying is unreleased, but it was released on the blues compilation Blues At Sunrise. The liner notes are very comprehensive. Andy Aledort did a great job. I hope they do this with all of Stevie's albums.

These got passed around about a year or so ago, but they still give me a hearty chuckle. Sorry to derail your post Blueser, I'll have to check into that new SRV disc, one can't ever have enough Stevie in their library.

Re: Steve Ray Couldnt Stand The Weather

Did you notice, one & all, that like the real guitar heros, he never lost the groove?  Robert Cray, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and so many more true masters are awesome rhythm guitarists.  Grown men, groove first, solo second...timing perfect.

Can you count to four?  I see so much smoking "fretwork brilliance  roll " that so often is unaccompanied by any basics... Can you tell I watched more guitarists Saturday night?
