Remove the stop in Heathrow and I just did that. Unfortunately, delete neighbor would have removed the wife.  yikes

Too funny 'cause it's too true. Can't wait to hear what Tom says about this!!!  lol

Re: One for the frequent flyers amongst us

I just thought of one he missed. On the 9 hour beauty, needing to use the "room" and looking back just in time to see the cart start rolling up the aisle.  mad Then, when you can finally get out, a 10 person line has formed.  yikes

Or the baggage inspector at Heathrow that saw my daughter's lead crystal lamp with wires on the X ray and decided it was a bomb. Since I held the baggage tickets for our big group, guess who was escorted at gunpoint to open the bag on the tarmac.  lol

We'll have another chance to hoist a few and swap tales! smile
BTW, the bag was sitting out 50 M. away from the buildings in an open area and they all watched as I went out to open it. I had no idea what was going on.  lol We all had a laugh when I found the lamp.

Re: One for the frequent flyers amongst us

HAHA that is so true - the taste in the mouth picture hits the nail on the head.  I almost bought one of the those neck pillow things and kept thinking I should get one... not anymore LOL

Re: One for the frequent flyers amongst us

Haha - absolute wonderful.
Not so much that's missing ...

... having a seat at the aisle and you're just on your way to have some sweet dreams but then a slight shove from a stewardess and you're wide awake.

... having a seat somewhere in the middle and your head falls down to one side and you're sleeping and drooling with your mouth open or wide open.  yikes

Hahaha ... this guy hits the nail on the head! I loved "trying to put shoes back on"...  lol
All I can say is: at least he didn´t fly US Airways. Oops. I have a Miles and More card now, but no neck pillow.

Eva, it's pronounced "use-less airways"!  smile

Rick, I was flying out of Heathrow back home (August 1998) in the days when flying used to be "fun". After having spent 4 weeks working in the UK (from Portsmouth all the way up to Speyside) I had acquired about 30 bottles of malt during the trip. The guy running the checked baggage X ray machine had a good chuckle when all those bottles showed up in the imagery. I just said something like "you Brits keep the good stuff for yourselves and send the crap over to us"!  cool

Major Tom to ground control...

Re: One for the frequent flyers amongst us

Hmmm.....30 bottles Tom? You must have had one large carry on bag! lol

Re: One for the frequent flyers amongst us

Tom, did you dump your clothes to fit the bottles? lol
