Topic: Offically: 3 Years a Joe-Fan

(I think) It was 3 years ago to this day that I saw Joe (easily) sell out Mr Kyps... Being only 13 at the time, I was amazed at what I saw that night, and since that day, my whole life has been taken over Bonamassa-style. It's thanks to that first Joe show, that I was inspired to get myself in gear and actually practise guitar some more! So for now 3 years a proper fan, and 2 years on this wonderful forum, thank you Joe  smile

It's all about the gratitude, thanks also to seeing Joe for the first time I was prompted to "LOGON" here. That was 2 years ago, very close to yours Rus. I knew you were young, but you are only 16 now??? (hard to believe but we do handle fairly simple math in Alabama).
How are the jazz lessons going, found anybody knew that really rocks your socks?

Had to take a short break away from jazz for work with the band (got a week or two off now before we're back recording again) but still catching up on new stuff for it with John. Haven't really stumbled across any 'new' guys in jazz recently, but I'm still reeeeeeally into Pat Martino's playing! Superb player, can't get enough of his music  lol

Happy to have all the young'ins we can! Helps to lower the average age of Joe fans big_smile   I really am pleased that young players are inspired by his style. As an ancient I am comforted that great music will live on. Lucky you!     Cathy
