Topic: The next step...

I probably should have run it through this board for you guys to comment on first, but I put the order in anyhow. It's all on the UPS truck for delivery so when I get home this evening it will be Christmas in July!

I've got 5 amps, and too many guitars. The only thing missing was a pedal board. Yeah, the guitar modeling processor unit I've been using is OK, but I really wanted to get real stomp boxes. So here goes:

I got the SKB powered pedal board (will power up to eight 9V boxes)
Polytune Chromatic tuner (heard lots of good things about this)
TS9 tube screamer (everybody has one of these right?)
Dyna Comp M-102 compressor (for enhancing the jangle on the 12 string Ricky)
Boss DD-3 delay (there has to be a zillion of these floating around)
Rocktron guitar silencer (read a bunch of reviews on different units, this seemed to be the best bang for the buck)
Also a bunch of patch cables to daisy chain it together

Comments? Any recommendations on what I may need? Thanks!

Major Tom to ground control...

Re: The next step...

Looks good, I can never have enough delay so I would add a second Delay/Looper at the end. I am still looking for another one.

Re: The next step...

Hit Josh at www.jhspedals.com   He made me a replica of the original Aqua Puss (he has a stash of the original spec chips...not the new ones from the re-issue). YOu can see a picture of mine at the bottom of his custom page.

Don't forget to grab a decent wah pedal.

Re: The next step...

If you are looking for a great delay I would highly suggest a Ocean EFX Vintage Echo.  They are amazing delay pedals. I have mine on all the time and I use a TC Nova Delay to get crazy.

I use a cheap Dunlop crybaby thats 20 years old and has never broke.

Hmm, let's see, a flanger, chorus, tube driver, switchers (pedal and amp), vol. pedal, two more delays...
