Topic: 2 Years On The Forum

Saw my 'registered date' today and thought... Really?  lol  Time goes quick  yikes
Since my very first day on here, I've loved being a member on this forum  smile  From the start I've always felt welcome, and loved how everyone gets along. This truly has to be the best forum ever, as it really does feel like one big family, who all share a good taste in music, and it's amazing how we all got to know each other, thanks to one awesome, mind-blowing, fantastic, magnificent, inspiring, talented (and many other positive adjectives) man named Joe. In the past 2 years, I've even had the privelage of meeting many members from this forum, and look forward to many more years of sharing laughs, stories, news, reviews, artists and enjoying Joe's music. I've also been made one of the luckiest kids alive on here, thanks to the legend that is Pete the Cabby, for generously giving me a ticket to Joe's London show back in February (I don't think I'd ever felt happier than when I read that message, as Joe's music really does mean that much to me), which was an absolute honour, and a pleasure to meet Pete, let alone countless others like Wooders, Lyn, Icon, Tripsy, mbcl, Andre, Suzzane, and loads more of you lovely people! (sorry for forgetting forum names of everyone else!) smile . Thanks to everyone who's been so welcoming and making being on this forum such a joy to visit everyday, and an extra special thanks to one Mr Bonamassa: for turning my life around and being an absolute hero to me  cool

Happy anniversary Rus. Too bad you couldn't make it to Bonn. We could have made each other's face lists. Next time maybe. Cheers.

Nice post Rus.   smile   You've encapsulated what most of us feel about this wonderful forum - it's an international treasure.  big_smile

It's been an honour to meet you and share some time with you. Your posts here are a real breath of fresh air.

It's also great to have some young uns on the forum and playing in bands. Keep the blues alive.  wink
