A friend who's not short of a few bob sent me a a photo of his latest acquisition yesterday. I took one look at it and thought "Wow, I recognise that guitar". Yes, it's this one. 
I hope to visit him later in the month to drool over it. I just wish I played ..........

I can't say who has it at the moment but he's a private collector who is also a pretty mean player. His collection is to die for and consists almost entirely of vintage instruments. He regards this guitar as a holy grail guitar soundwise and describes the tone as incredible.
He has a photo of GM playing it and a letter to the previous owner from GM certifying its provenance.
I hope I can say more after I've seen it.
