Me too Rocket, this is the first and only Joe show in London since 2005 i'm gonna miss, and miss it i will and it feels strange not attending knowning the band are tearing it up, in the smoke

Like you, Michael, I've had to forego my 5th time of seeing Joe this year due to family commitments. I agree, it does feel wierd not seeing Joe when he's almost on the doorstep.
I had a text from Maggie at 6.30pm saying "Our boy just blew them away "
No surprise there, then!
Just texted Maggie to see if there's anything spesh (sic) happening. Watch this space.
Phil
according to Twitter Greg Lake is now very fat, - lot of tweets on ELP and Steve Hackett(?) (must be a prog rock thing). Jimmy Page was apparently there yesterday watching ZZ Top. Nothing, nada in Tweet land on Joe
The latest missive from Maggie makes no mention of anything special, so maybe there wasn't anything this time.
Maggie will go through the setlist later. It sounds like her Joe t-shirt attracted a bit of interest on the way home as Maggie says "EVERYONE I passed on the way to the station and on the train was saying how phenomenal Joe was."
The set list today as I remember it -
Ballad of John Henry
So it's like that
When the fire hits the sea
Young Man Blues
So many roads
Sloe gin
Blue and Evil
Django
Mountain time
Just got paid today
It was a great choice of songs and the weather was fine (just remembered Guilfest last year!).
Everyone I spoke to thought that Joe was phenomenal.

Thanks Maggie. That is a power set for sure! Great to hear of the positive responses.

Planet Rock sez Joe slayed 'em....

Just getting over the festival yesterday - Great day, had fun, lots to do, see and hear! Joe was superb, i was right down the front. Thanks to Maggie for posting the set list.
A funny moment - Bogie nearly missed catching one of his sticks, at the end of, Just Got Paid
I heard many in the audience after, say how much they enjoyed Joe and the boys performance - superb!
Only thing.... an hour goes by so fast when you're enjoying yourself.
For the fashion conscious among you... Joe was wearing a smart dark suit, white shirt, and what looked like white shoes!
