Topic: North Sea Jazz 2010

So Joe was at north sea jazz again this year. I think it was just an incredible show. So amazing and powerful.
It seems like Joe, Rick, Carmine and Bogie had so much fun playing the show. They played some songs of Black Rock, Ballad of John Henry and even some older ones. The first song they played was the Ballad of John Henry. I just love this song, it's so
blues/rock with a great bite to it. So many roads and So it's like that were also played. A surprise to me is that they also played "Young Man Blues". A great song which I love. Other songs that were played: Last Kiss, Sloe Gin, Blue & Evil and of course last but not least: Just Got Paid.
I was already in Rotterdam at 2:00 PM. I waited and waited and waited and more waited until Ahoy was open. I immediately went to the hall "Nile", where Joe was going to play. The whole place was empty in 'Nile'. So I went to the front of the stage immediately. I couldn't believe I was like the only one in there together with my mother. We waited there for several hours and there came in more & more people every minute. With like the best places there were, I (again) waited & waited & waited. And then it started.
It was the best show of my life. I can't wait 'till there are some more videos on youtube, or even professional ones. I didn't shot any videos myself 'cause I wanted to enjoy the show the whole time. Of course I took some pics but that's it.

Thank you Joe, Carmine, Rick & Bogie for the greatest show of my life.

Hello Rick and welcome to our family  smile

I was there too and shot two videos. I hoped the national tv (NPS) that filmed the whole show would put it on their website like they did last year but unfortunately they didn't.
So it seems that my vids are the only two, unless other people will upload more on youtube the coming weeks.

Nobody can resist that Anne! My mother enjoyed the full show, was amazed that Joe could play for so long and so fast without stopping. Go Joe & Co.!

I listened to the stream of Joe's performance. It was amazing, much better than the one he did for BBC earlier in the year. Does anyone have it in MP3?
