Thanks. This may sound silly but what is the Green Channel?
I'll definately post next week after the gig and let you know how it sounded.Ill be running a delay in the loop. Is there any setting for the effect loop? I know my Fuchs has send and return trims as well as series/parallel select.
The green channel is the "classic" channel or the cleaner of the 2. There is a crunch or boost function on that channel that brings it closer to a Jubilee or Plexi. There are no settings for the effects loop like on your Fuchs. Of the three amps provided you'll get a closer JB tone with the JCM2000. If you are looking to sound more like your Fuchs than the Twin + pedals option may appeal better to you. I hope the gig goes well for you man, I'll be looking forward to hearing how it goes for you!
I'm originally from Y-town in Ohio, I may have seen you guys.....it is a small world.
So you have 5 minutes to dial in your sound on an amp you've never played through, in front of 10,000? I'm nervous just thinking about that! yikes.....
Thanks guys!
Big E. Small world. You must know of my band then. I'm the new ('06) lead guitarist with Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers. Work with Bruce ocassionally. He's on the new record with us. send me an email with your address and I'll send you out a copy.
xcorporate, if it would ease your mind I could fire up my DSL100 tomorrow and try to get the closest JB tone possible. I imagine it could be extremely nerve racking to play a strange amp/rig in front of that many people! Congrats, enjoy it...sounds like a sweet gig man. Just let me know if you want me to crank mine up and pass along some settings dude.

the 900's are crap. and they don't have so much gain as the 2000's.
but if i had to choose.. i would choose the JCM 800.
Dude, they sucked more than anything that has ever sucked before. When I was 14 my dad bought me a 2nd hand 50 watt combo. It sounded trebly and with very little gain. I was so disappointed as I had wanted a Marshall forever. I thought it needed serviced / new tubes etc so I took it to a repair shop... The guy told me there was nothing 'wrong' with it that could be fixed. The long and the short of it was it was just horrible.
The JCM 800 always sounds trebly, that's why you have to configure treble at 1 or 2 and bass at 8 to 10. Also, it's high gain only appears with humbuckers.
I think you did the "Stop" instructional on youtube. You have a great sound.....nailed it...

Thanks bro for the kind words. That's all the Fulldrive 2. That pedal into literally almost any clean platform can get you there. The FD2, little echo/reverb, and my R8 Les Paul is my quick grab and go blues/rock setup.
