In every picture I've seen of Paul, he goes to the right in every one. So maybe it's not him doing the deciding, it's whomever is responsible for placing the flags in the tank!
I'm back in Spain after some days in Germany... wow what a game, Spain really did their best playing keeping the ball. Is the same kind of playing that Barcelona is doing, it is very difficult for the other team to run after the ball the whole game, Spain pays more comfortable with great teams running after them than traditionally worst teams that use a lot of defences and just look to create some danger in fast attacks.
People in Spain became crazy, It is something historical for us in our sports history...I know that on Sunday every spanish player will be 200% to be the winners, the country has forgotten all other issues for a moment. Let's see if we can finally be in the elistist list of World Cup winners... European and World Champions?? Who would give a pound two years ago?
Josu, les deseo lo mejor y espero que ganen la tan ansiada copa del mundo!!

I hear CBS want to sign Paul up with his own Chat Show
I would love to serve "Paul" Greek style.
Broil about an hour, cut into pieces and add lemon, seasalt, black pepper, spring onion, parsley and olive oil.
If it's too much for a salad you can put 1 or 2 legs on the barbecue after broiling.Let's see whether the Dutchies have some recipies, if Paul is right and Spain gets the Cup.
I'll cross my fingers for the Oranjes.

I wonder which wine Andre would recommend with octopus?
Sorry, Andre, I couldn't resist.
For anyone who wonders what I mean: http://www.jbonamassa.com/forum/viewtop … 971#p56971
Dear Phil,
a very dry white wine would be best, like a sauvignon blanc from France or a Sauvigon- chardonnay or Steen from :SOUTH AFRICA!!
I have the wine but not the victory yet!!!!!!!!!!!!

yep, I believe Paul is righthanded. We do realize right that he ends up eating both of them anyway. I will also pull for the oranje just because they may be slight underdogs. ever so slight?
Tres
yep, I believe Paul is righthanded.
Hahahahahah!!!!! Paul is Ambidextrous !
I knew I should have used the smiley face Brack. You do know the crude definition of ambidextrous, applicable only to men?
I truly believed I was ambidextrous when I turned 12.
Paul the Octopus has his own Wiki page.
Paul the Octopus is also history, having today allegedly picked Spain to win on Sunday. We are now pinning our hopes on Polly, the Singapore parakeet, who has also apparently got all the results right, and who today picked Holland to win.
This is the first time in my life that 'my' team has reached a WC final, and it will almost certainly be the last. I've always had a preferred team, but it was never 'my' team. As a serious football fan, having your own team in the final of something as big as this is very different, very special, very emotional. This one is also very peculiar for me, because if Holland wasn't in the final, I'd be 100% for Spain. I can't hate or dislike Spain as the 'enemy' quite simply because they play the most beautiful (though not the most efficient) football.
Still not sure how and where I'll be watching, bit it will not be on Museum Square with an estimated 80-100k people who will have stood for hours in sweltering heat before the game ever starts.
You saw how Spain stifled Germany,so if Robben can stop falling over and claiming free-kicks,Spain for me!

There is no way the Dutch can contest midfield, their only hope (imo) is to try and somehow prevent Xaxi from getting the ball too much, and hope for a lightning counter with Robben when they lose possession. It'll be real hard and I don't see many goals - I'm hoping for a 2-1 to Holland (office pool) though I will take any kind of win, however achieved, just to be able to for once taste victory in a WC final.

They can be effectively attacked if the size advantage can be used. Control of the 20 meter area in front for the defense is paramount. We are going to watch at the other grandparents house on the Spree so a quick dip at the half time may refresh. We got to sleep about 0100 after it cooled a bit. I still am on San Diego time so it's baseball time. Best of luck George, Spain can be cracked with the right approach.
Paul predicts Spain to win!

If you are in Greek try "Paul" with a Retsina.
Warning! Never drink Retsina if you are not in Greece.
It's a long way to the top.
Maybe we'll hear some Vuvuzelas in Germany on Sunday ...
HUP HOLLAND HUP
The World Cup Final ... Holland v Spain ... that has a real mouthwatering football feel to it
the 2 best passing teams in the tournament for sure, great at keep ball and quick at spreading it wide and coming down the flanks as slicing through midfield
i picked Holland before the start of the tournament, thought only Brazil were their hurdle in that half of the draw, and thought Argentina had the firepower to come thru the other half, but Spain have passed the ball so slick and fast
The key to this game i feel is breaking thru the defences from midfield with fast intricate build up play, for Spain Xavi & Iniesta hold the key and break very quickly to David Villa and maybe Torres, plus Holland come from mainly Wesley Schnieder & Arjen Robben to Look for Van Persie and maybe Huntelar or Ellia,
Should be fast paced and potentially a very open attacking game.. let's hope so
With a Worldwide TV Audience of over 1 Billion ... This could be the best Final ever
I'm Backing Holland to counter attack an agressive Spain
.............. Michael
Now where's my Ajax Football Top
The Vuvus are back in town.
