going to pick up my new Custom Shop '62 heavy relic Strat (in sparkle red over black) today at 3! After feeling how nice a real vintage strat plays, I had to pickup a relic!

update on the '62 Heavy Relic... it plays absolutely wonderfully... i feel in love with it almost instantly!

Congrats! I was obsessed with LP's for a while but have since been playing my Strat more and loving it. The clarity is amazing. Looking forward to seeing pics of your new axe...

WOW dude that guitar is an eye catcher!  I have mega Strat envy!  A very unique guitar that's for sure.  I hope you get many years of service from her.  BTW I ran across a magic Eric Johnson Stratocaster that had a very figured maple neck and was only $1100.  I'm trying desperately to avoid dropping the money on that guitar.
