Happy birthday to the fastest pen in the forum!! You don´t come by chance to Berlin at June 21th?? Would be an opportunity to do the German beer birthday prosit in reality.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. My day started off with a nice visit to my dentist, and it wasn't for cake and ice cream!     It is certain to get better from here on out. Celebrating number 39 again, and again, and again.... Oh well, you are only as old as you think you are and Joe's music makes me think I'm 21 again so the heck with numbers.

Guenter, I wish I were going to be in Berlin June 21. I think, from sotted memories of my first visit there, is that the date of the Berlin Bierfest? Ah yes, the BEER MILE on Karl Marx Strasse (on both sides of the street, so that is a heap of beer stalls). 1600+ different brewers from around the world for three days imploring you to sample their wares. So much beer, so little time. Happy days! The Germans do like a party and I have a lot of family to party with there, and here as well. You on this forum seem like extended family to me.

So to all  I raise a dram and a pint in return salutations, you do the same and the world will be a bit better today.    Prosit, Skoal, Cin Cin, Salud, Cheers, Happy Days and Bottoms Up to each of you. Now I'm going to crank up some of our favorite music.

The Biermeile is in August, in June we have playing Mule in Huxley´s Neue Welt. But I´m sure that we would have found some glasses of beer anyhow.

Sorry I'm late, but when you're older you get to celebrate for at least a week    Oh, I remember the drills in school..crawl under the desk and cover your head    That would work in a nuclear attack???    I agree that Joe has rekindled the youthful side of many fans. So I wish lots of music and joy for you. Glad you're a part of this community, esp. your role as greeter, it's a nice touch.    Cathy
