Topic: tele v squire tele

my brother just brought home a squire tele he got at a market for 30 euro so the price can't be beat, but what is the difference between a tele and a squire tele? is it build quality or just luck?

Wood, production costs, quality control, electronics.....

Saying that though the Squire Classic Vibes (especially the 70 custom) are very nice guitars for the price....

Just kidding, as John said, its made in far east.
Hardware and pickups are cheap quality. Nontheless it may sound ok.
Who knows? But I wouldn't bother pimping it. Otherwise you
will be price wise at a mex Tele quickly.

squier have just realeased a 62 type tele from their classic vibe series. Sunburst, rosewood neck and that bound body. only £350 i think. A great base for upgrades. Has a nice modern 9.5" radius too.
