"Jason Elmore & Hoodoo Witch is a North Texas-based blues/rock power trio that can best be described as "Rory Gallagher meets Joe Bonamassa meets Johnny Winter". Their scorching hot, in-your-face sound contains traces of blues, hard rock, old country, jazz, and surf but they manage to wrap it all up together in a package that is undeniably Texan and undisputedly world-class. Their debut CD, "Upside Your Head" was released in April 2010 on the Underworld label and has received airplay nationwide, including a long stint on the Texas Roots Airplay charts. The CD was co-produced by Jim Suhler (of Dallas' Monkey Beat and George Thorogood & The Destroyers), who also plays on a couple of tracks".
