Topic: Keswick show

Who is going to this show?

I would love to meet up with any of you before hand for some drinks and eats.

It's my first time seeing Joe and I can't wait for Saturday to get here!!

Re: Keswick show

Forever Young- I'm sorry I didn't read your post before the show.  I hope you enjoyed your first Joe show, I thought it was fabulous!!!

BADASS as BADASS can be, Joe & Band put on a stellar performance last night to a sold out crowd of 1300!!!  I can't tell you how many shows I've seen at the Keswick and dreamed about Joe playing there, so last night was really special for me.  Joe told a story about a show years ago in downtown Philly that he had to cancel because not one ticket was sold, can you imagine that?   hmm   Always On the Road Joe Bonamassa has certainly earned his title of Best Overall Guitarist/Best Blues Guitarist!!

It was a real treat to hear If Hearaches Were Nickels and is there any better way to send off a crowd of pumped up music lovers than to dose them with Led Zeppelin?!

Just a GREAT show, THANKS Joe, Bogie, Rick and Carmen and crew!   smile  Unitl next time, stay healthy and keep rockin'.  smile  Love you!  Angela

Re: Keswick show

Another awesome show by Joe & the guys last night, with Joe obviously feeling much better than last Sunday when we saw him in Wilmington. We were surrounded by a number of Bonavirgins, I must say they were somewhat awestruck. Joe was in a great mood joking about opening for B.B. King there 10 years ago when the marquee read B.B. King with support (Joe being the support). Nearing the end of WUD my wife  (Gale) shouted "play it again" to which a stunned Joe stopped playing for a second with a look that said you've got to be kidding me, then gave us a big smile, the crowd loved it. After the show someone told us that moment was priceless, I have to agree.  smile

We met Joe, Carmine & finally caught up with Bogie after the show & Gale got the last signature on her shirt completing her quest. A big thanks Bogie, as we finally got to meet you....we were very excited! We also met Joe's dad before & after the show, just as nice as can be & a very proud father as he has every reason to be. Now we are off to Harrisburg to catch the last of our three shows, wow. It will be over before we know it. sad

Re: Keswick show

I also forgot to mention that there were new ballcaps at the merch table last night, black with gold pick & JB logo in center of pick (very nice). cool

Re: Keswick show

Hombre, that moment when your wife shouted out was ABSOLUTELY priceless!! I was laughing my a$$ off!! Another great show from Joe & the boys.

Here's a few videos I was able to get, even with the overzealous security squad they had monitoring the crowd. One of them made me turn it off during Just Got Paid/Dazed, but I turned it back on as soon as he turned around. He came over again and just gave me a "WTF?" look!! This was my first time using a Flip Ultra Hd, and I must say that I'm less than impressed with it. My Canon Powershot does a better job!

Re: Keswick show

I was at the Keswick show on Saturday. First time I saw Joe B & was really impressed with him. Has to be one of the best artists I have ever seen & I have seen my share of them.

Hombre, I loved it when your wife shouted out & the reaction from Joe B was great.

Had to drive from PGH Pa to see him & it was well worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Re: Keswick show
