Cool slide guitar version of the song.

Roy will be playing at "Gator By the Bay".  A Zydeco, Blues & Crawsish festival mothers day weekend in San Diego.

Susan and I are gonna be there.  Grew up in Louisiana, love crawfish, love the blues.  fun times.

Thanks for the video.  I've got a little of Roy's music, but mainly with Norton Buffalo.  Did a little search and found a very nice song of Roy with Sammy Hagar called "You Can't Stop Now".  Very enjoyable tune.  Didn't realize that's Roy playin' slide on Hagar's "Little White Lie".

The first time I heard Roy Rogers was a century ago on a Blues Show I used to sponsor for Lunch Time Miami.
Hell Hounds On My Trail.  Channeling THE Robert Johnson.  When I saw his face I has a surprise.  I didn't know he was a white brother.  a super talent.

Roy played last night in his hometown Vallejo, Ca. which borders Benicia where I'm at. I didn't make this one, but just saw him in Jan. playin' with Bonnie Raitt & others at the memorial for his dear friend Norton Buffalo. I met Roy a few years back at a Q&A sit down here in Benicia. Very nice guy who loves to talk about blues music and history and yes plays one helluva slide guitar.
