Happiness is a sky without planes
I live near East Midlands Airport - like 25 mins drive....most days from my home office I see one after another taking off and landing. It's been blissfully quiet the past week.

A lot of bands are affected by the Icelandic Eruption too....
like my friend Stoney Curtis.. he toured Holland and Germany the last weeks and now is stuck in Aachen, Germany.
This is his post of yesterday evening: "Due to the eruption of the Iceland Volcano, I am forced to cancel some of the USA dates.. Springfield, MO.. Jacskon, MO.. Cape Girardeau, MO and Springfield, IL..
I am stuck in Europe and the earliest flight out is April 25th.. We have exhausted every angle... I have worked so hard to get this USA Tour off the block, and it's just being wiped out... I am planing on picking it up @ Nebraska and on to Texas and Bellyfest...
I'm really disappointed, but Mother Nature reminds us from time to time, who's the boss...
Don't even know what to say...."

More eruptions.... and deadly ash!

I watched a documentary on NatGeo the other day about the recent eruption. They said that the nearby volcano that hasn't yet erupted (but generally does after the the current one) has a glacial cap on it that's over 500 meters thick. If that one blows, the ash that will be generated will be exponentially greater.

Thats right RIC.... It's bigger brother is overdue to blow.... we have been warned.... but some don't want to listen!!
