I played a beautiful Traditional Goldtop last week...it played loud and resonated well unplugged. I am holding out for the '57 re-issue!

I picked up some Big Bends Nut Sauce and it's definitely helped my tuning stability. Worth a shot for about $10.
NUT Sauce is a MUST! I couldn't live without it. My guitars stay in tune perfectly, never ever had any tuning issues anymore since I use Nut Sauce.
