I tried Joe's settings (volume around 3-4, Treble at 3, Mid at 6, Bass at 10)late last night when I had to play quietly. I had the Fulldrive 2 going into the Class 5 with the Overdrive almost dialed, but the volume at maybe 2-3 (Vintage setting..non-Mosfet, Standard) playing a 335. The tone was amazing! The FD2 freaks me out - I had to stop twice as the second-order harmoncs are so rich it almost sounded like a reverb or a delay with it! I may post a thread to see if anyone else has had experiences like that...

It sounds like he's pushing the hell out of it with his tube screamer. Im looking for a small combo that will give me some joe type tones for practice. Have you guys had any experience with this amp?
I have a class 5 and have used it in conjunction with a few pedals for a joe type tone. I have a boss fender 63 reverb pedal and a DD3 always in line. I then run wah - fat boost 3 - then either fulldrive 2/OCD/Blackstar ht dua. I am liking the sound of the fulldrive 2 the most at the minute. Seems to get me in the ball park for low level practice.
