Topic: My MIK Squier II Strat rebuild

It's finally done! got it back yesterday and it sounds great. the new pups from GF give it the "meatier" sound I was looking for. sounds really good through my Valve Junior. being that I'm just learning how to play and on a budget I think this should work just fine for me for now. pickups,(Premium Alnico Texas l36,think Fender Texas Special),new pots (500k),5 way switch,tuners,tremblock (solid steel),string trees,neckplate are from Guitar Fetish. new graphite nut and pickguard are from the guy who did the setup. I had ordered a pre-wired pickguard from GF,but the pickguard I got from them wasn't even close to fitting,so he got one from a friend that fit just right.

Bruce Wayne beautiful job on your Squier II.

If you have the original Squier II pickguard and want to sell it please contact me as I need one doesn't matter whether it has "aged", "yellowed" or still white. Contactl me, Jim, @ the following  email  rz 350x2@yahoo.com
