Ges.
Let's hear it for the Fat Boy  cool

Re: Joe on Preston FM

thanks Ges, that is a worthy plug. since it is your first show, possibly making some history there, what would that first Joe song be? that opens up a can of worms, we would all like to suggest a first song for you. if assuming BR, my humble suggestion is Wandering Earth. Have you in fact picked out that song yet?

Re: Joe on Preston FM

It is indeed already chosen.
I kept it to the new album.
'Tis Blue and Evil.

Stonkin' track  cool

I also finish the show with a Joe track.

In between, music from Oli Brown, Nimmo Brothers, Free, and others and a chat to Lancashires Nr 1 Rory Gallagher fan about Rory and what it's like to go to the tribute festival in Ireland.

I'm more than happy to name check people from this forum and play you a track in future shows.
I've signed up for six shows. One a month starting 9th April and then every fourth Friday at 7pm BST

Re: Joe on Preston FM

cannot go wrong with that song pick, also one of my favorites on the disc. I appreciate the offer of a future song selection, it appears you have it well in hand from other artists listed. there is one artist that we are bonkers over that you might research for a future slot, his name is Eric Gales. However, I know he is not very popular in UK. my son and I will definitely tune in to this, thanks again for the headsup.

Hi Ges,
I listened to your excellent show. Very nicely put together I thought. Great selection of music too. Loved the Joe tracks of course and also Oli. Loved the Nimmo Brothers track and the twofer of Robert Johnson's Crossroads...the old one by the great man himself and the newer version by Cream.
I enjoyed your interview with Russ too. Kay told me he wasn't going to listen because he thought he would sound like a dork! lol  Rest assured Russ you sounded very cool and very knowledgeable.

Looking forward to the next show Fat Boy!....have you put on weight lately??  tongue

Tripsy smile
