Topic: Seymour Duncan pedals?

How good are seymour duncan pedals?

I saw they have a new blues pedal... just wondering what your thoughts were.

Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

Re: Seymour Duncan pedals?

Never tried them, but they always look like they could be great. Keep thinking of getting their pickup booster pedal to use as a clean boost or level balancer between guitars.

Re: Seymour Duncan pedals?

I had a Twin Tube...massive power and gain on tap...except it broke three months later and so did my friends five months later.

Was not happy - was told it was the valves (told they were military spec to begin with) - sold it...and still looking for a good pedal two years later...

Might dive for the Xotic BB Plus...

I hear mainly positive things about the PU Booster.

Re: Seymour Duncan pedals?

Avoid the Metal Mayham at all costs.  Seymour should stick to what hes good at and it aint pedals!

Re: Seymour Duncan pedals?

I once tried the Twin Tube Classic (the brown-coloured one) for a day or two. I didn't like it.  Very gainy but not in a good way. Perhaps a tube driven OD into a tube amp is too much of a good thing? Sounded like a chainsaw.
