Well, thanks to Dickie V. for finally answering a nagging question at 2 AM this morning following last night's phenominal game:

QUESTION: How many Father and Son combos have won the NCAA Championship?

ANSWER: 3

Derek Smith (1980 with Louisville) and son, Nolan Smith (2010 with Duke)
Scott May (1976 with Indiana) and son, Sean May (2005 with North Carolina)
Henry Bibby (1970, 71 and 72 with UCLA) and son, Mike Bibby (1997 with Arizona)

Joe, who does Dick Vitale root for when UNC plays Duke?

I knew about Nolan Smith from Duke but not the others.  Cool!  The whole experience was special for Nolan's mom, I didn't realize it was the same town where Derek's dad won.
