Nice review Tripsy, but surely you mean Glasgow here, you were in Manchester! smile

Fabulous pictures Geoff, you have an eye for the lens! smile One question though, how do you hold the camera so still whilst sipping cocktails? wink

Re: Back Door Slam - Manchester Monday

Well as Simon has already mentioned, last night's gig at Birmingham Academy was excellent. The guys were really on fire, the venue was packed, and Davy seemed genuinley overwhelmed by the reception he got. So much so that after a little prompting we managed to squeeze a second encore out of him.

Sounds like things are shaping up well for the next album if the new song "Catch the Moon and Run" is any indication. Interesting from my perspective that they were back to a 3 piece again. Ty's Keys seemed to free Davy up a lttle and give him more space for guitar solos when I last saw them, but the 3 piece worked really well too, so don't ask me which I prefer - it's all good!

Good to meet up with Martin and Simon again, as well as Tripsy's DJ friend Lee Raynor from Ambersound FM.

Didn't manage to get any photos of the gig - no "pro" cameras allowed by the venue.

I’ve printed off all the posts on this thread and will present them to Davy this evening. So, if you’ve added something here, Davy will read it.  big_smile
