Thanks for that, and yes last night was simply brilliant.

I have lost count of how many gigs/concerts I have been to over the better part of 25 odd years, but Joe last night was right up at the very top, easily in the best five, probably in the top three.

It was so good seeing a world class act in a small intimate venue with other people who also respected and appreciated what a special night it was.

It was the first gig ever that I went to by myself, and was well worth the 6 and 1/2 hour round trip in a car.

guitarnoize have any other songs to put up on youtube? "Just Got Paid" would be good.

Welcome to the forum Kermatt. Looks like Joe delivered  the goods for you folk down under. Sloe Gin is ever evolving. The intro is now legendary and always a bit different. Run on over to the intro section and tell us about yourself and how you got to know of Joe and his music. We're a nosy bunch and you will find friends here. Your long drive mirrors many here. Some here have crossed continents and oceans in pursuit of the next gig.

Thanks guitarnoize - great video. Did you record Young Mans Blues? It was the only song in Melbourne that I hadn't heard before and it blew me away. I would love to see that one.

Kermatt I am in the same boat. I have seen many many gigs over the years, and his show in Melbourne was right up there with the best of them. The sound guys deserve a mention too as it sounded unbelievable.
