I delayed getting a ticket for too long and then it sold out. Have a great time tonight Jeff and do let us know how Peter is sounding these days.
cheers
David
Cool, looking forward to your review. I have heard he is playing as well as he ever has since his breakdown during/after Fleetwood Mac. Apparently his meds have been tweaked so that he is not completely zonked all the time and thus can still connect with his guitar and the emotions of the music whilst still keeping his illness under control. Hope he is doing well the guy could use some good fortune after all these years in hell.

A good night. I think he was suffering with a cold. Still sounds good to me. Never had the pleasure when he was in his prime, but to hear him play Oh Well and follow that up with Albatross was great.
The encore was a duet of a Bluesbreakers number followed by Black Magic Woman.
The venue was good, although I gave the bar a miss for fear of losing my seat.

There you go then, he must have been good if you couldn't risk a seat even for the bar lol
Glad you had a good time

I'm pleased Peter was on form. I'm even more sorry I missed it now Jeff. If I'd joined you we could have saved each other's seats while one of us went to the bar

Ain't Nothing You Can Do,Oh Well, Albatross, Blue's Get Off My Shoulders, Long Grey Mare, Sittin' In The Rain,
Black Magic Woman.
PS Are you going to HAMMERSMITH on the 28th?

That's a good selection Jeff - much better than when I saw him umpteen years ago. He's coming to Aberdeen in May and I'll be there. So that's 4 days after the Free Convention, 10 days before Tom Petty and 16 days before Hammersmith.

Are you going to HAMMERSMITH on the 28th?
Yes indeed. There's going to quite a few forum members there by all accounts.
I would prefer to stand but it's possible I may not able to get there early enough to get a good standing place. So, at the moment, I have 2 tickets - one standing and one sitting. So my options are covered.
Looks like you're going to be busy Kenny.

Hi Dragon
I did not know what to call you. Thanks for the downloads. However I was only able to use the samples.
Is there any way of getting the download onto MP3 or failing that, the setlist onto CD.
Hope you don't mind my asking.
Thanks
Jeff
Great to see that Peter is touring with a bunch of guys he feels comfortable with. I'm sorey tempted to see him when he plays the Ferry in Glasgow in May. I know he's been through a lot and I was not a great fan of the Splinter Group, but with a set list like that I'm certainly interested. Greeny is the best ever UK born blues guitarist in my opinion.
Interesting.....a very different take on Bobby Parker's "Steal Your Heart Away" than Joe's....but I like it.

Hey Jeff, sorry i'n not the most tech savvy of youths. There certainly are ways of converting flac to mp3 or burning to cd but i don't know any off by heart. sorry i just found the linksi didn't create the files or upload them. If you google FLAC TO MP3 CONVERSION or maybe CONVERTER I am sure you'll get lots of hits. There are codec plugins for windows media player to play FLAC otherwiseyou I use VLC player which you can download for free. Sorry i couldn't be of more help,
Danny/Dragon
