Topic: Marshall 2554 1 x 12- Hot or Not?

There's a nice 2554 Marshall 1 x 12 combo going for a very reasonable price on eBay. It is seemingly the identical circuit to the Silver Jubilee model- is this the case?

I know the 2 x 12's are unloved, but anyone tried the 1 x 12 and any view on its Bonarmannerisms?

Yes this is the same circuit  as far as I now the only difference is ther is less filter capacitors in the combo but dont tthis makes a difference to the sound

A silver jubilee 1x12 combo IS my preference over a head, because I don't need to cart a 4x12 if I don't want to. and I can just unplug the speaker can go into a cab if I want. it's a convenience thing to me.

I noticed that one too, and I'm always "this close" to pulling the trigger.  sigh... someday.
