Topic: Black Country at Riverside, CA show on 3/17 ??!! :))

Well, if the rumors are true, then Black Country will be making an appearance at the Riverside, California show tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 17, 2010.  I just wanted you all to know that I will be there, with cameras in hand, to capture the GREAT show that I know Joe and the boys will give us, and also any 'extracurricular' fantabulousness which may be served up from the Supa Dupa Groupa!! 

I hear that there are still tickets available.  I think that anyone who is lucky enough to snap them up will be talking about this show for the rest of their LIVES!!  I've been lucky enough to see Joe and Glenn perform LIVE together, and, I can assure you, it was PURE MAGIC.  I am still profoundly moved by what I witnessed.  Get there, if you can...... and, if you can't, then TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!

It sure beats doing stupid stuff on St. Patrick's Day.  I am frippindohspotulatedoff (yeah I made up a lame frustrated cuss word) about missing out on this!  I am not doing stupid stuff tonight, but cannot make it and am counting on the powers that be and beyond those of you who be yonder there to break some legs and break some eggs and make me a big omelette of tasty fun.  I will have an ear to the ground and will check the seismograph and compare the ground shaking news to the tale of the tapings!

I had heard that rumor too. Too late to be a Bonafrower, but I'll feel the tremors. It will be a hard day's night with no time off for bad behavior, but sometimes pleasure and duty must coincide.  The last lap is coming up and  the California BonaCruize is speeding for the checkered flag. Payday is coming down.

Rick & Rocket - they have me in El Cajon on Monday and Tuesday next week - maybe we could meet for dinner either of those two evenings.

And don't forget, Stoney Curtis is playing in Whittier on Friday. I don't know if you're hip to him but knowing you guys love Joe's music, you'll absolutely love Stoney's too!

I  bought one of those Zoom Q3 video recorders and will put it through it's paces tonight. I dropped in an 8 GB SD-RAM and that should give me about 3 hours of recording time. Four sets of batteries too to be safe. I'm in the 9th row and the recorder only zooms 2X so my vids won't have the close ups as will Libbys (she and Steve are front row center as usual LOL).

If successful I'll try to get the stuff from Black Rock and the "Supa Dupa Groupa" up on youtube first.

The thing that disappoints me (and benefitted me as a result) is the absolute lack of giving a crap of the LA residents. They can't keep a football team here because not enough people will get off their arses to go to games. Tonight's show appears to have a very low turnout, as a result as of late last week I was still able to snag a 9th row seat.

If I know Joe and the band they will still put on a kick-@$$ show even if the theatre is only half filled.
