Haven't plsyed other gibbos, but love the std, with asymmetricale nec, chambers etc. Sure vibrates nicely against stomach when played sitting down smile

Hey man my first Gibson LP was a Desert Burst.  Good choice  wink  lol.  I bought it when I was 13 (I started playing around my 10th birthday) with my own money that I saved up.  She's no longer my # 1, but I wouldn't trade it for anything... very sentimental.  Treat her well and it will give you years of a beautiful guitar sound.

Here are my Gibsons.  I'm a total Gibson freak.  Thats all I buy.  Don't care for anything else.  Nothing compares to the sound and feel of a Gibson.
