Topic: Octavia question

Hello all, can anyone give me some input on a good octavia unit? Brand? Been thinking about purchasing one but as most of you know, there are so many to choose from. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I've heard really good things about the Chicago Iron Octavian. I know someone who has one and loves it. Heres a demo someone did on youtube comparing it to the Roger Mayer, I think the Chicago Iron was the superior pedals, its more expensive too.

I'm planning on getting a Chicago Iron soon. I've just got a buy a univibe clone first!

Jess, thanks for the info! I wanted to comment on your search for a univibe clone. I have the Fulltone Deja Vibe 2 and I absolutely love it! I couldnt imagine not having it. I know Robin Trower is using the unit or at least he was last fall on his tour.

Thanks. In Australia we don't often have all the Fulltone and other boutique brands in the shops to try out so recommendations are all I have to go by sometimes. As well as the Deja Vibe I was also looking at the Sweet Sound Mojo Vibe. Have you played that one?

Joe uses the Fulltone Octafuzz and someone just had one on EBAY for a 'buy it now" price of $90!  I was gonna buy it but I play in a modern country band and would probably use it once a night at best....no room on the board for something like that.
