Topic: Oregon shows murfdogblog

Well, it's now just over 2 weeks until the Oregon shows start and I just wanted to let all know I will be doing a daily diary for that week documenting my Joe experiences, while attempting to survive 4 shows in 7 nights, with my best friend Kent. We will try to pass on set lists and any other info people are curious about:
3/3 Eugene
3/4 Portland
3/7 Bend
3/9 Medford
    Oregon loves Joe!!!

Re: Oregon shows murfdogblog

Hey ya'll,

I'm in Eugene and have been looking forward to seeing Joe so much!

Two weeks from today!!

I'm on the Street Team but have not been contacted. If there is anything I can do please let me know. I had rotator cuff surgery a few weeks ago so am off work for a while. In other words... I have time on my hands!

Hang in there Oregon Rider and welcome. Cruise the Forum, get a taste of the new tunes, dream of the day to come. Enjoy the company.
Have a listen to this classic while you wait. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-cOgJJidn8

Sittin', lookin' at the clock, time seems to move so slow...
...a minute seems like a lifetime when we're waitin' for Joe to show.

To paraphrase my favorite lyrics and song.

Re: Oregon shows murfdogblog

We're also Street team members....I'm not sure what we have left to do in Oregon......I'll check with Rodger this week and get back to you....we'll see you at the show....front row just left of center. Let anyone and everyone you know they shouldn't miss this....Portland is sold out but still plenty of seats in Eugene for all interested...

I got the Tweet... wish I knew what the 19 songs were.

I've been listening to the set list from Berlin. Probably won't be much different.

SO PUMPED!!

Re: Oregon shows murfdogblog

I will be making a trip to Oregon this weekend. My cousin lives in Bend OR. I have been telling him about Joe since 2003 since he was my music mentor for my formative years I thought I would introduce him to an artist for a change. Finally got him to sit down and listen to NWIP a couple of years ago. Well he is now a crazed fan and is very excited about his first live experience. I thought I would come up and share it with him. He is the Food and Beverage manager on Mt Bachelor so I am going to get a couple of day skiing in too. First time in 10 years so I hope I survive.

Just spent last week there, on Bachelor 4 days in a row  wink  Sooo much fun.  Have fun seeing Joe in Bend, I know it will be ripping here!

Re: Oregon shows murfdogblog

If some of ya'll want to, we could meet for dinner / meet & greet  / beer... beforehand. I will be at the Sixth Street Grill (on the bar side, not the restaurant side) at 6 p.m.

http://www.sixthstreetgrill.com/

It's a couple of blocks from the theater.

Shoot me an e-mail if you are interested  brian at nobles dot net.

Re: Oregon shows murfdogblog

I was wondering where to go....not that familiar....thought of "Turtles" but that's a ways off....might get there even earlier...show will start at 8 no first act from what I've been told. Sounds like a plan

JIM, if you show up with a cast and crutches, Joe will bust a gut. Take care! The brain remembers and tells the body to do things it no longer can. (a lesson learned the hard way!) Young brain, vintage muscles!
