Topic: Les Paul

Please excuse my ignorance.I have just found out,via facebook,  that the number one chart record on the day of my birth was Mocking Bird Hill by Les Paul and Mary Ford.

Would that be THE Les Paul.Any feed back on this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Les Paul

Hi Glyn or is it Jo?  lol

It's the very same Les Paul. If you go to Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Paul and look down at the singles under Discography, you'll find 'Mocking Bird Hill'.

Re: Les Paul

Hi Glyn,

Yes, I remember that very brief meeting. I think I was so stressed at the time I called you Jo or did I call Jo, Glyn. lol

Meeting up before the Hammy gig could be a little problematic as most will want to join (or start wink ) the queue, while others (including me and Mrs W),  won’t have to rush as we have seats upstairs. If there’s to be a forum meet it will probably have to be during the afternoon. As for who’s organising anything, I think Mrs W would kill me if I so much as mentioned it! yikes

As for getting together after the show, we won’t be hanging around as we’re off to Bournemouth the next day for our next fix.
