Oh yeah thats my daughter Brooke and I bought her a guitar off of Ebay its a 1950's Stella, the neck is broken away from the body like the strings got stepped on and the action at bottom of the neck is about a half inch off the fret board.  You gotta start somewhere don't you.

This thread would be beautiful if we could use image tags...

Rami I'm seriously digging the look of that double white bridge, and gingerpaul the wood on your CR8 is crazy-vintage looking! Reminds me of Pearly, in fact I'm positive that if Gibson hadn't let that wood go they would have used it for the Pearly model last year.

Great picts!  I held off on getting the aged version and bought an unaged and love how it sounds.  So much so that right now I prefer it over my Jimmy Page #1 CA! (I thought I'd never say that).

Do you have a preference, aged vs. un-aged, or are they both just great, but different?

2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop (with the cream plastic from the 58RI)
> Marshall Bluesbreaker 2 pedal >Boss sd-1> DD3 > Vox Ac15cc1

Re: Your LP

Why are you selling your first LP, I assume she has the most sentimental value. Why not one of the others?

Re: Your LP

The red LP is a studio.  She doesn't see the light of day.  I have a friend of mine who is a touring musician and we were talking the other day and he played her and wants to buy her.  So I know who is getting her and she will get use as well as she will be well taken care of.  Plus I have to finish off paying off the bill on the 58RI....

I may end up selling the goldtop as well. as the 58RI is now my main guitar....

2009 Gibson Les Paul 1958 VOS (with black plastic)
2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Goldtop (with the cream plastic from the 58RI)
> Marshall Bluesbreaker 2 pedal >Boss sd-1> DD3 > Vox Ac15cc1

Re: Your LP

Well if the R8 is your main squeeze, that's understandable. I would use "Looks like a Joe Bonamassa LP!" as a selling point for the GT!
