Topic: Gibson Studios 16 February 2010

Here are my first few. Sorry if some of these are a bit grainy. The later sets should be better with a lower ISO rating.

I'm still getting the hang of my Fuji F70exr, but with Martin's expert tuition beforehand, some of them are quite good.

Watch this space for lots more (when I've upgraded my Flickr account.  wink  )

Nice job Phil.  You were so close I could see that Joe has no fillings in his teeth!   lol

I especially like this one:

Martin is a good teacher.  Can't wait to see more.  Looks like an excellent time was had by all.

Thanks, Sandy. There's a lso a nice one of Joe at the volume pedal with a halo around his head.  big_smile  I'll try to get this and the rest of the pics uploaded at the weekend.

Patty, yes, sadly there may be one or two with me in taken by some of the other Bonabuds.  hmm

Re: Gibson Studios 16 February 2010

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. The lens on my little snapper isn't up to the standard of Ian's DSLR, but it's not bad. I do need more practice though, as I wish I'd taken a few more landscape oriented pics.  roll

Here are some more. I hope you've got the stamina.  lol

I particularly liked this one that Tripsy pointed out showed a halo around Joe's head. We always thought he was saintly, now we know.  cool

I hope you like 'em.

Nice job Phil - it takes practice and luck.  I still have to remind myself to shoot more in landscape mode, and sometimes it just won't work.

The halo thing must be real - I have one of those, too:

Re: Gibson Studios 16 February 2010

These are very nice photos Phil! Got one question; in this photo do I see a little mustache and soul patch action on Carmine's face?

Looks rather swashbuckling to me.  wink
