Derek in 1993 - reminds me of somebody else we all know.  So funny - Derek is playing away with his eyes closed.  My brother saw Derek with the Allmans around this same time frame - not sure if it was this show.  Can't get enough of him - too bad he's slowing down for this year.

I saw DT play a solo one night that was astonishing.  Even the band was open mouthed.  It was almost, no it was, a spiritual experience.

The guy next to me was unmoved...  roll

In this vid. he is comparing Delta Blues with music from the Desert (rag)in the mystic sense,you can hear it in his meedle east style phrasing..

I guess DT has much more to bring then just music notes ..
